★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Well stocked Maple Farm that offers a variety of sizes to choose from, at a great price! They have gallon sizes all the way down to stocking stuffer sizes. They also have a variety of infused maple syrup, New Hampshire gifts, honey, and other items. Note that it is self-serve, so plan to bring cash or checks with you. I love the taste of their maple syrup!
September 01 · Exploring God's creationGreat products, friendly people, beautiful space. We got to know the Someros when we were buying maple syrup from them for our caramel business. We always found them to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. When I told Ruben that I was having trouble using maple syrup in caramel, he researched it and told me how to “invert“ my syrup so that it would work! Thanks a lot.
June 25 · Stewart HarrisPerfectly cute shop near Pratt Pond. It mostly runs on the Honor System, and still feel like you’re simultaneously in both, a family operation, and a refined gift shop. This is a gem.
July 08 · JJ RohrerOur first New Hampshire Sugar House visit left us very impressed. The Somero store is teeming with different grades, sizes and shaped containers for home or gifting. We were fortunate enough to receive a brief tour by two of the owners. This family is passionate about sugaring and proud of their products. The evidence is in the taste and quality. We are currently enjoying their full-bodied Grade A Dark. Next time you're driving through Southwest NH, we recommend visiting Somero.
April 25 · Glenn MancusoCome visit at Copley place farmers market on the Tuesday schedule! It’s so exciting to have this here in the summer now, if you live near Boston. Previously, I drove to N.H. for the award winning syrups. I believe I tried all grades, including the coffee, and cinnamon infused syrup. Each syrup is better than the last, and my family was even fighting over it right down to the last drops. However, I also really enjoy the super fresh candy, nuts, popcorn, and now the maple pretzels, trail mix, and fudge. I also got the dog treats for my dogs and they loved it. Another, very special thing they have is the maple soda. It’s hard to find quality and reasonably priced maple syrup in Boston, and the products are even harder to find. Don’t be fooled by competitors, especially in the city. If you love maple make time to go to the farmers market or the N.H. store and get the quality of the Somero Maple Farm. Also the very important to say is the maple farmers and operators are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They love the maple and you can tell in the quality and even ingenuity of the products. You will only be disappointed that you didn’t buy more every time you visit, especially the dog treats because your small friends will love maple just as much as you. I’m looking forward to my next visit already!
