★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I found this place by accident when I went to mall to window shop. The shop set up real cute and alot of open space!! They had alot of different candies and sweets (even sodas!) I had alot of fun looking at all the different products. They also have" pay by weight" custom your own candy bag. I'm enjoying my custom bag right now with mixture of new treats and old time favs. :) (the gummy items are filled with flavor!)The gentleman working counter was very kind and lovely to chat with. Feels he enjoys working the shop and that makes coming to store even sweeter
November 24 · Kristen PedigoWe absolutely love this store! We go nearly every weekend. Great selection from their soda pops, flavored cotton candy, freeze dried candy to their nostalgia candy and more. The owner is amazing and staff too. I don't know if it's a good thing that they know us by name lol but they make it a point to make everyone feel welcomed and make great suggestions. This is our go-to place for tasty treats. If I could give them more stars I would.
May 27 · Rosie DurangoThis place is absolutely amazing. Their prices are not high, the staff is very nice, they greet and treat people as if they're family. I've been to this place countless times, and everything I go there's something new for me to look at. This place has everything a kid/teen could want, whether their craving freeze dried, crystal, Japanese, spicy, retro, or Cotton Candy. Retro Sweets should be your top priority. My mom buys the freeze dried skittle and salt water taffy pack because she likes the Blue Raspberry salt water taffy but the separate pack of it dosent taste the same and last time I was here with her, one of the staff asked my mom what she was looking for and after she explained her problem he said he could go into the back and grt her a separate pack of the taffy that she likes. Once we bought everything, I found out that my mom wasn't charged for the custom taffy pack the staff member gave to my mom. Now that's a top-notch business! Solving customers' problems AND making sure the customer leaves happy! And if your kid doesn't want any of the candy listed, they also have a candy bar where you can get a bag and customize what candy's you want! They also have pucker powder if your kids are craving something sour that melts in your mouth. Overall, Retro Sweets is the best candy store I've ever been to. 5/5 Stars on Google Maps isn't enough. They deserve way more! This place has so much candy that my mom and I spend around $20-$100 each visit!
October 13 · Kristofer Fotopoulos (Kris)I was going into the mall to go to a different store and saw this cute candy shop. There are a couple of sour candies that I have been wanting to get for my kid, but haven’t been able to find locally or without high shipping cost. We walked in and were looking around and were immediately greeted. We let him know that we were generally looking for sour candy, and he led us to the exact candy that I have been looking for and then I was pleasantly surprised when he had the other candy I was looking for in stock as well. We talked about various kinds of candy for a while and just had a lot of fun in the store. I ended up meeting the other owner as well and she was super nice and fun to chat with. We will be coming back to the shop for all of our fun candy needs in the future!
