There are also "cut outs for souvenir pics by Miss Ellie, the giant elephant statue," providing perfect photo opportunities to commemorate your visit. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I always put a zinger on the itinerary and Mr. Ed’s was my pick for this trip! It’s a fun stop, everyone enjoyed all the unique elephants in the museum and who doesn’t love homemade fudge and candy!!! Especially the older candy that you don’t see very often anymore, it reminded several members of my group of their childhood. The picnic area was a nice spot to enjoy some of the treats we bought, with the pond nearby that had elephant statues with water flowing from their trunks. There’s a couple of cut outs for souvenir pics by Miss Ellie, the giant elephant statue by the Mr Ed’s sign. Make a stop here and I guarantee you will leave with a smile and you won’t be empty handed!
September 03 · Mountaineer Photo ExcursionsWhether you are a collector of anything elephant of just a fan of quirky roadside attractions, this is the place to visit. Hundreds of statues, photos, etc make up one part of the store while the other is dedicated to both new, but mostly, retro candy. Outside there is a path lined with unique decorations. There is also a teapot shaped building containing, you guessed it, teapots!
August 13 · Diane CifrulakCoolest place to visit! So glad we stopped in. The outside is a cute little slice of heaven that has so many things to look at. The inside has a ton of reasonably priced gifts and candy as well as an extensive elephant collection. It's a must do if you're in the area.
August 07 · C SmithThis is an interesting roadside attraction. If you love elephants, as I do, plan to make a stop when in the area. It has a unique collection of elephant-themed memoribilia, a small garden to walk through, a gift shop with all kinds of items, and a massive selection of candy, fudge, roasted nuts and other snacks for sale. There's also a whole lot of history behind this place to learn about. It's small enough to make a quick stop, or you could stay longer and take it all in.
