Malley's Chocolates Introduce
Introduction / Overview
Malley's Chocolates in Strongsville, Ohio, is far more than a typical confectionery; it is a long-standing Northeast Ohio institution, deeply woven into the fabric of the community’s holiday and gifting traditions since its founding in 1935. Located at 14031 Pearl Rd, this location serves as a premier "Chocolate shop" and, functionally, a specialty "Grocery store" that caters to those seeking high-quality, premium chocolate and confections.
The brand’s reputation is built on an unwavering commitment to quality, often using the founder’s original recipes and techniques, including cooking over an open fire in a copper pot, a method that gives their chocolate its distinctive, smooth texture and caramelly finish. This dedication ensures that when you purchase a box of Malley's, you are experiencing the same beloved flavor profile that Clevelanders have cherished for over eight decades.
Customers consistently highlight the exceptional shopping experience. One local patron noted the store is "Super clean and well organized," with "Lots of walking space in between isles so you don’t feel like you are on top of each other." The staff is frequently praised for being "very pleasant and helped everyone out in a timely and professional manor." While the core product is, of course, their delectable range of milk and dark chocolates, they are particularly renowned for their unique chocolate-dipped specialties, such as the famous chocolate-dipped potato chips, graham crackers, and seasonal fresh strawberries. For many Ohio families, purchasing Malley's is an essential part of celebrating "all of the holidays."

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Nice candy store. Super clean and well organized. Lots of product available for anyone to purchase. Lots of walking space in between isles so you don’t feel like you are on top of each other. The workers were very pleasant and helped everyone out in a timely and professional manor.
February 11 · JoeOur favorite chocolate. You purchase Malley's for all of the holidays. The chocolate dipped potato chips, Graham crackers, and strawberries are the best!
April 23 · Leesa WillLack of store management made a bad situation worse today. The seasonal grape and strawberry delivery was behind schedule, and instead of store leadership and staff keeping a growing group of customers informed and organized - confusion and dissatisfaction filled the room with many giving up and leaving. An assertive customer made the only attempt to try and create some order. But instead of the staff taking this opportunity to gain control - they left the customer in charge and for the better nature of the room to hopefully hold while they hid behind the counter.Once the delivery arrived, no attempt was made to keep order. The boxes were simply brought out to the crowd and the frenzy began, with no prioritization of those that had waited almost an hour, or those holding small children, etc.No excuse for this from a company that should know how to do this right. I waited this time, but will never invest my time and money again.
February 13 · JasonThe store itself is very clean and have a lot of candy options whether it's chocolate, sours, or seasonal items. BUT my issue was with the older woman working the register probably about 60-70 years old and her name was Peggy.....You work in a candy store. If a child comes in and walks around and makes some noise you should be okay with it. My daughter is only 2 years old, NOTHING went into her mouth while in the store. She was just excited to be in Malley's. My mother visiting from out of town wanted to stop in and we bought a GOOD amount of chocolates and Easter goodies. But on Saturday March 23 around 3pm the store was a bit busy and PEGGY looked at my daughter and said "I'm a grandmother so I know why your daughter is so crazy"FIRST off..... calling a 2 year old that you don't know crazy is uncalled for. Mental illness is a real thing and my daughter is not crazy. Happy and excited yes, but crazy NO!!! They really need to hire personable people or just people who can handle a busy store. I don't care if your store got busy.... It's the weekend before Easter so be prepared and don't get frustrated and DO NOT call a 2 year old crazy.Malley's chocolate DO BETTER
March 25 · Kaitlyn MarcusDecent chocolate that's a bit expensive. My family has made it a tradition to seek out candy stores during our travels. We came here looking for buckeyes, which I learned about years ago during a trip to Columbus. We left with much more.Everything we got was delicious. My only complaint are the prices are a little high.
