It is set up for a quick visit, allowing customers to easily browse and make their selections. For those who appreciate a broad array of options, Lolli & Pops provides a chance to explore different types of sweets all in one place. The emphasis on offering a variety of products, including chocolates and other dessert items, aims to cater to a range of tastes and preferences. This variety is intended to make it a go-to spot for a last-minute gift or a personal indulgence.
In-store shopping is the primary service available, giving customers the opportunity to physically walk through the store and see the products on display. The layout is designed for a fast and efficient experience. For convenience, the store accepts various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and NFC mobile payments, making transactions smooth and quick. This focus on efficiency and variety is central to the shop's approach, aiming to serve customers who are on the move and want a simple, straightforward experience.
However, based on recent customer feedback, it is important to provide a full and factual overview of the current state of this business. Several recent reviews have raised significant concerns about the in-store experience. Customers have reported issues regarding the cleanliness of the store, with mentions of "disgusting environment" and "boxes everywhere" that created an "obstacle course." The condition of the products has also been called into question, with one review stating that the candy was "rock hard and past the expiration date."
Additionally, customer service has been a major point of negative feedback. Reviews describe employees as unprofessional and unwelcoming. One customer noted an employee "with Afro kept belching and walking around in pajamas," while another mentioned a "tall, stinky man" who "did not acknowledge our presence." These accounts suggest a significant disconnect from the professional and friendly atmosphere typically expected of a retail establishment. One review summed up the experience as "terrible," and another stated that the employee "did NOT want us in the store." These consistent observations across different reviews highlight a pattern of issues that prospective customers should be aware of.
The reviews also mention a lack of attention to basic store operations, such as having warm beverages in a cold case and a general disarray of the space. The cumulative effect of these reported issues has led customers to question the store's continued operation and even suggest that a health department inspection may be necessary. While the intent of a candy store is to provide a joyful and pleasant experience, these accounts indicate that the reality may fall short of that expectation. This information is provided to ensure a balanced and factual view for local users in Massachusetts who are considering a visit.

What is worth choosing?
When considering Lolli & Pops, the value proposition appears to be the convenience of its location and the potential for a wide variety of candy options in one place. For a shopper already in the area, the store offers a quick and easy way to find a sweet treat. The different payment options and accessibility features are also practical benefits.
However, it is crucial to weigh these potential benefits against the significant and repeated concerns raised by recent customer reviews. The issues of product quality, store cleanliness, and employee professionalism are major factors that have been consistently reported. The descriptions of a "disgusting environment," "rock hard" and "expired" candy, and unwelcoming staff paint a picture that is far from the pleasant experience one would hope for in a candy store. For many, the joy of a treat is directly tied to a positive and clean environment, which, according to multiple accounts, may be lacking here. Therefore, while the store may be physically convenient, a customer's personal experience may be unpredictable and potentially negative.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Disgusting environment. They were trying to close the door when we arrived. We had to make sure they were open. Boxes everywhere. The cold case had warm beverages. The employee with Afro kept belching and walking around in pajamas. The tall man behind the counter smelled like sweat and was throwing around items eventually complaining of how he hated everything. Terrible experience. After reading other reviews- surprised this place is still open. Board of heath needs to be called on them.
July 24 · Google AccountMy friend and I were looking forward to getting some candy here as we have not shopped at this store in quite a while. As soon as we walked in the store was empty, not even a person at the register which had me questioning if the store was open. After a few minutes of browsing and picking candy a tall, stinky man appeared from the back room, wearing a very strange outfit that should not be associated with a cute candy shop, and airpods in his ears. He did not acknowledge our presence, merely peering over at us with what seemed to be an annoyed glare. After getting our candy we headed to the register and greeted the man only to be met with absolute silence, whoever this man was, he did NOT want us in the store. Either way, we payed about $30 total for our candy only for ALL of it to be rock hard and past the expiration date. If you have any dignity or self respect please please please do not come here, there were also several boxes blocking most of the candy, it was like participating in a obstacle course for a sweet treat (which is actually rotten). Lolli & Pops, please get your act together because the state of which your candy shop is in is absolutely atrocious.
July 31 · lindsey campbellRecently, I visited this candy shop with my young children. The atmosphere was unsettling: a tall man leaned against the counter, staring intently at my children while speaking with the bearded employee. My child innocently touched the glass case to admire the chocolates, only to be reprimanded. It's a candy shop! Surely, children are expected. The store itself was not clean by any means. The display case looked grimy, and the overall cleanliness was concerning. Honestly, if my children weren't already eager for candy, I would have walked out immediately. I certainly won't be returning.
December 20 · Nicole MarieIt was a mess in there, boxes piled up covering any access to the candy. And the 2 gentlemen that works here has very personal and offensive conversation about their beliefs that made us uncomfortable to be around.I’m never the type to complain about smells, but one of the workers has really bad body odor that we cannot seem to ignore, it lingers everywhere and as soon as we walk in that’s the first thing we noticed.Secondly, I understand they were stocking more candy but to have a box cutter out in the open accessible for kids is dangerous.I don’t know who’s the management for this store but please retrain them on the basics of working at a retail store.
November 01 · Vy HongJust came in to buy a chocolate bar. There was two individuals working behind the front. As I was browsing they were constantly talking down on the US military. As weird as it sounds, they were making fun of and openly discussing their distaste for the nearby guard and reserve. Regardless of their opinions, I don't think they bothered to think of the audience as I was the only customer in store and just finished 6 years in the military. For two employees of a candy store to be openly, talking trash about people in the military is quite ironic but also distasteful. As these two were the only ones there, I'm going to believe that the stance of this establishment is anti-military. I will no longer be shopping here, but I'll make sure all the nearby guys at the nearby bases, especially that national guard base they were directly making fun of down the street. Are well aware that this store does not care for their business. It was cool coming here as a kid but if I knew that was their attitude probably wouldn't have came here then either. After their talk about the military, they then kept making jokes about the current hurricane situation in Florida. Especially not cool as my father is down there so that's twice as awful.Know your audience. Will not be returning.
