Located in the heart of Queens, New York, Chocolate & More is a convenient stop for those in search of a quick dessert or a chocolate fix. Situated at 3-03 30th St, this establishment offers a variety of chocolate products and more, aiming to cater to the sweet cravings of the bustling New York community. The shop provides a focused experience, ideal for a "quick visit" where patrons can easily grab a treat and be on their way. This is particularly appealing for busy New Yorkers who appreciate efficiency and convenience in their daily routines. The store serves as a straightforward destination for those seeking a sugary pick-me-up or a small gift. It’s a place where you can step in, make a selection, and continue with your day, making it a functional part of the local landscape.
Chocolate & More's appeal lies in its simplicity and accessibility. As a dessert spot, it offers a range of items for those looking to indulge their sweet tooth. The store accepts credit cards and debit cards, providing modern convenience for customers. This ease of payment is a significant plus, as it eliminates the need to carry cash for a small purchase. However, it's important for customers to be aware of the products they are purchasing. A public review mentioned an unfortunate experience with expired Lindt chocolate boxes. While this is not representative of all products, it highlights the importance of checking expiration dates on packaged goods. It serves as a reminder for patrons to be diligent, ensuring a positive experience. Another review mentioned a difficult encounter with a cashier, indicating potential inconsistencies in customer service. While every customer interaction is unique, these experiences underscore the need for a welcoming and professional staff.
The location of Chocolate & More at 3-03 30th St in Queens is a key aspect of its appeal. Queens is a diverse and vibrant borough, and this address places the shop in a highly accessible area. Being on 30th Street, a well-known thoroughfare in the Astoria neighborhood, makes the store easy to find for both locals and visitors. The shop’s urban setting provides excellent accessibility via public transportation. It is likely within walking distance of subway stations and bus stops, which is a major advantage for New Yorkers who rely on mass transit. The high foot traffic in the area also contributes to its convenience, as it's an easy stop to make while running other errands.
One of the most important features of Chocolate & More is its wheelchair-accessible entrance. This is a crucial element of inclusivity, ensuring that the store is welcoming and easy to navigate for all customers, regardless of mobility. This feature demonstrates a commitment to serving the entire community, making it a more inclusive and considerate establishment. The accessibility combined with its straightforward "quick visit" model makes it a functional and convenient option for many. While a review highlighted a negative service experience, the overall location and accessibility remain strong points. For a city that values convenience, the ability to quickly and easily get to a location is paramount. Its location in a bustling New York borough positions it well to serve a large and diverse customer base.

What is worth choosing:
Choosing Chocolate & More is primarily about choosing convenience and accessibility. For residents of Queens and the wider New York area, this shop offers a straightforward and no-fuss way to satisfy a craving for a sweet treat. The "quick visit" model is a huge benefit, especially in a city where time is of the essence. You can pop in, grab a dessert, and continue with your day without a significant time commitment. This is a major contrast to larger, more time-consuming retail experiences. The store's wheelchair-accessible entrance is a notable and positive feature, making it a welcoming place for everyone.
However, as with any shopping experience, it is advisable to be a discerning customer. The public reviews about product freshness and customer service highlight the importance of checking items before purchase and being prepared for a potentially inconsistent service experience. It's a functional part of the local landscape, serving a specific need for convenience in a busy urban environment.

November 23 · Ela GrimbergI just had a very interesting encounter with a cashier at this place this morning. Before catching an early flight to Boston, I stopped at the store for a bottled water. I grabbed an Evian from the refrigerator and asked the cashier if they had one at room temperature.“What’s wrong with it?” She asked in a cold tone.In order to clarify what I needed, I started a detailed description.“I know what it is.” She interrupted me with an even colder tone. She grabbed one, charged me for $4.39, didn’t bother to wait for the transaction to finish and stepped away. I grabbed the receipt, and had a feeling that I just begged the woman for a bottled water.Btw the cashier’s numbered is 408525. For those of you who are reading this review, I wish you the best luck by not meeting her at the airport.
May 17 · Ye GaoOn 8/16/2021 my daughter purchased a box of chocolate at this store. After arriving home we realized that the expiration date on the box was 4/11/2021. Indeed the chocolate appeared very old. It is very concerning that a store is selling food items that expired more than 4 months ago.
