★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place was great! I came here for a box of chocolate for my Valentine's Day gift for my wife. The workers were super helpful with explaining the process and assembling the box of chocolate for me. The staff was wonderful! And the chocolate is probably some of the best I've ever had!
February 14 · Adrian CanhamSmells amazing! They have such a great variety! We got our seashells for our wedding cake here! They came out beautiful!
May 07 · Connie IannacconeSayville Chocolatier is a business I often frequent as a local resident for holidays, gifts, a stroll down the street etc.On Most occasions I have been greeted pleasantly and the staff have been helpful.I went in recently to purchase a gift for a co-worker, and have to say this is the second time now, that I felt the person behind the counter was “annoyed”, unfriendly and uninterested in helping a costumer or making a sale. Everything felt like an issue from start to finish. I picked out a box size (1 lb of chocolate for 35 dollars) and then after a few moments, while trying to decide she asked “do you just want pre-packaged”. Did I not decided fast enough what I wanted in the box? My answer was no. At the end I asked if she can put it in a paper handle bag with some tissue- as they have done before. I wanted it to look nice as a gift for someone who had never had their chocolates. She was trying to convince me otherwise, saying it won’t fit. It would be sideways. (That didn’t matter to me, I would normally put it in a gift bag anyway) She got annoyed, but put it in the bag. At the end, I asked “can you put your label sticker on the bag?” (Seeing the entire reel of them, plentiful by the gift wrap behind the counter ), like all small businesses do. Not only does it promotes a business, but it just makes everything look nice and finished and put together. Again- she was annoyed by my request. It’s important note that it was not busy, and I was the only customer in the store at the time. I planned purchasing additional items for myself, but was turned off by her behavior, that I left. What makes this even more disappointing was that I found out later that she was actually the owner of the store.
March 27 · Stephanie GLook there are a lot of places to buy chocolate and we all can choke down a Russell Stover if we need to but if you're in the market for something special and you live in Suffolk County I highly recommend Sayville Chocolatier. The raspberry cream milk is OMG good.
February 07 · Mark HeyertI bought a pound of the most delicious chocolate. I had some butter crunch, caramels and truffles and other deliciousness. Totally worth it.
