★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I don’t normally leave reviews but I just had to because Madeleine’s deserves all the love! The staff were so incredibly kind and offered to have us weigh our bags as we filled them to ensure we were paying a price we were comfortable with. Candy was absolutely delicious and tasted like real, good ingredients were used to make them. Hearing the story behind the business and the passion that goes into having a local, small business as this was so incredibly heartwarming. As a fellow Madeleine, I am so incredibly grateful and proud of the community that this store fosters!
June 08 · Madeleine MannoHighly recommend checking out this new woman-owned candy shop in South End! They have a great selection of both global and domestic sweets, plus gluten-free and low-glycemic options. The shop is adorable, and you can fill a bag with a variety of chocolates and candies. We got a good-sized bag for around $14, but they also offer pre-packaged chocolate bars and other treats if you prefer something ready-made. A fun bonus: they give you chopsticks to pick out your candy without getting sugar all over your hands! Definitely a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!
February 02 · HannahLoved working with Madeleine and Ellie on a corporate catering order. They knocked it out of the park and we did a candy charcuterie board that everyone loved. The process was easy and the team took so much care to make such an outstanding product for us. Can’t wait to use them again for future events! Everyone who works here is also the sweetest and it felt like we were working with old friends — would highly recommend visiting this sweet shop.
May 13 · Maeve MarshThis place is so fun!! They switch candies like every week and they are all fresh and funny shapes/flavors. Come in a cute bag with chopsticks which is a fun idea. My roommates and I will be coming frequently to try the new gummies that come out! Like actually an adorable place, I haven’t been to such a classy candy shop before. They also price by weight so you can pick out one of each of the candies to try which is fun. The bag pictured was $17
March 08 · Maggie DriggsI was unimpressed. The store was small, clean, new and bright. not a ton of variety. and there were no clear instructions on how to get the actual candy and there were not scoops in each compartment. I ended up taking one from a different candy bin which I’m sure was completely against the rules but the two employees stayed behind the register and there were a lot of people so no chance to ask questions. I liked the cash discount of course. But none of my other friends knew that was an option prior to them completing their purchase so again bad instructions! Probably won’t go back.
