★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you are in Islands of Adventure and looking for a sweet treat, the fudge at Island Market and Export Candy shop is absolutely amazing! They are huge pieces with several options. My favorites are the Sea salted chocolate caramel fudge, chocolate peanut butter fudge and strawberry swirl fudge. Pictures don't do this fudge justice but I will take more pictures next week to show this establishment's amazing fudge and sweet treats selections! Right now for Mardi Gras, they have a king cake fudge, and are offering as a sample to try it before you buy. It was really good also. Give them a try.Updated review with some more pictures from tonight 2/11/23.
February 11 · Brandon DietzSo many sweets to choose from. But let's just say you won't be disappointed with a Brookie brownie. 🤤Talk about a brownie cookie combination. That will fulfill your 2 in 1.
December 21 · Matt BThis candy shop tucked right in the entrance of Island of Adventures gets easily overlooked. But don’t do it! Because it might be one of the best sweet destinations in the parks. There’s a lot more here than meets the eye. Not only are there are a bunch of Universal themed candies (like gummy minions and dinosaurs), but also two display cases of pastries of every kind.During Christmas they had a gingerbread cookie frosting sandwich that was actually to die for. Pair it with a hot cuppa coffee and you’ll be in heaven. But there are cookies, cupcakes, rice krispies, fudge, s’mores, caramel apples and all other options as well.If you’re feeling a blend of sugar you can grab a bag and create your own trail mix of candies, or fill a tube with powdered sugar. They have every kind of sweet you could want. Oh, and you can get the giant Simpson Homer donuts here too!!The Island Market & Export is also connected to the Christmas store that is open year round, so you can grab your sweet and then get in the cheery holiday spirit if you so like.
January 15 · Raegan “R Lin”As the name suggests, they sell all different types of themed candy, but they also have some baked dessert options as well. Not a bad place to stop for a treat since it's conveniently located by the entrance/exit to Islands of Adventure.
March 02 · Andrew MagnottaWe didn't really purchase anything here, being in the mood to browse, but had a very positive couple of encounters with the staff. The first was when we were offered a fudge sample. They had just created a new flavor and wanted to let us try it. There were different flavors than what I'm used to for fudge - like key lime, but I'm always game to sample something. Especially fudge. It wasn't really my cup of tea, which is fine, but they are very experimental and I know that if I tried long enough, I'd find a few that I loved. We even spoke to the chocolatier who was working and engaged with him for around 15 minutes - distracting him from his chocolatey work. He was enjoyable and spoke about the store, the park and other parks in the area.Beyond the fudge, there are multiple items for sale here and it connects to the Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe. I had walked by this store multiple times as I entered the park and didn't give it a second thought, but figured it was time. Hopefully you've been paying better attention than I.
