The bonbons are so pretty! Like eating jewels, it feels criminal. My favorite was the roasted corn and the black sesame, but the rest of the chocolates were delicious too.
June 24 · France LeWorld class chocolates. His bon bons are flavorful without being sweet. World class. They make a beautiful gift too because the pallets he has curated for the chocolates is absolutely gorgeous.Transparency: I work in the chocolate world and I now know Daniel after moving to NYC. May 16 · Nettie AtkissonKalamansi confection? Hojicha Tea bonbon? How about one of Philippine coffee? These and more are several of the chocolate offerings Daniel Corpuz has in his newly opened chocolatier. Inaugurated yesterday and located on Mulberry Street, opposite a large garden this pretty chocolatier and cafe is sure to please everyone. Age and I went there today to sample and meet the Chef who we have known from the chocolate circles. A selection of coffee drinks and three types of cookies are available. A delicious chocolate ice cream was given for this warm day. Age and I both had the ice cream which was delicious and we enjoyed talking to Chef Daniel. Chef Daniel was in the Canal Street Market which closed and has been at the holiday markets. He will continue to be at the Union Square one. Now at Mulberry Street one can buy his confections all year round.
April 19 · Sabena SinghAbsolutely love the chocolate selection—it’s a beautiful blend of Filipino and Asian fusion. These chocolates really capture the spirit of cultural integration and global exploration, as I heard the chef was inspired by cocoa in different regions. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted with unique designs and exotic flavors. My sister is an absolute chocolate fanatic, so I came here to pick out a few for her birthday gift box, and I know she’s going to be so excited and i can’t wait for her to open it. I also love the small contemporary café-style table, it’s such a cute spot to catch up with a friend.
May 31 · Valencia HartonoAn absolute gem for the Filipino community. This is truly a place to get Filipino flavors in bonbon form. Yes, it is on the pricier end but so worth it once you break it down. There is a chart showing the costs for one bonbon. The lattes are also amazing. I got the sweet latte. The cafe itself is so relaxing and the local art is also a really nice touch! I can't say enough good things about Daniel, his staff, and the journey to finding the perfect home for his work after Canal Street Market closed.
