What is worth choosing:
When considering Beiler’s Candyland, it's important to look at the full picture presented by customer experiences. While one review points out a negative experience regarding service and receiving the wrong item, it is vital to balance this with a different perspective that speaks to the positive aspects of the business. The review from the customer who received the wrong candy highlights a potential area for improvement in order processing and customer service. However, it also reveals a key feature: the availability of specific and high-quality items, such as Asher sugar-free raspberry jelly candy, which a customer was willing to drive two hours to purchase. This shows that their product selection is a significant draw, and the availability of specific sugar-free options is a major convenience for those with dietary needs.
In contrast, another review from a customer on a different date offers a completely different experience, praising a young lady for her "beautiful smile" and "humble" nature. This customer's request to have the staff member choose a selection of candies for them shows a high level of trust and a positive, engaging interaction. The fact that their "grandkids love the candies" serves as a direct testament to the quality and appeal of the products, which ultimately is the most important factor for a candy store. This positive feedback suggests that the quality of service can be excellent and that the products themselves are well-received and delicious.
Ultimately, Beiler's Candyland is worth choosing for its robust and diverse selection, particularly its range of sugar-free chocolates and candies from a reputable brand like Asher. The store's strategic location within the Bird in Hand Farmers Market makes it a convenient stop for anyone visiting the area's main attractions. While there may be occasional service issues, as noted in one review, the potential for a friendly, personalized experience and a delightful, high-quality product is a significant draw. For anyone looking to find a specific candy, explore a wide selection of sweets, or simply grab a delicious treat while enjoying the Farmers Market, Beiler's Candyland offers a great opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth in the heart of Pennsylvania.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We drove almost 2 hours to get to Lancaster where we stopped at the Bird in Hand Farmers Market. We had not been there in almost 5 years. My first stop was Candlyland for some Asher sugar free Raspberry jelly candy. When I got to the counter I already knew what I wanted but the two people behind the counter were engaged in conversation with what I assume were friends standing outside the counter. I was the only customer at the counter and I was completely ignored by the two clerks even though I was standing right it front of them. Finally the woman walked up and asked me what I wanted. I said one pound of Sugar Free Asher Raspberry jelly. As the clerk was boxing the candy I looked at other candies and found a box of toasted coconut marshmallows. I walked to the register and paid. The jelly was $19.99 a pound and the marshmallow was $4.65. The total was $25 and change. I assumed tax. Whatever the case, we left the market and on our way home I ate a piece of the Asher chocolate. I was sick to find I was not given the raspberry jelly but orange, which I dislike. We were too far away to drive back to the market but I will say that if we visit Lancaster again I will not make any purchase from this location. $19.99 is a lot for a pound of candy only to be given the wrong item. And I also did not appreciate being ignored when I walked up to the counter so the clerks chat with their friends, relatives or whomever they were.
