★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was pretty amazing. The tour is only $5, and you get like 4 samples throughout the tour. It's not indepth, but it's fun. After you get back $4 from the original ticket cost to spend on candy/chocolate/ice cream there. And if you sign up for the award program, then you another 7.50 for free.
August 11 · SamThe chocolates here are kind of pricey, but they are SO GOOD. They also offer a tour which we did. It's $5, but you get a $4 coupon to spend after in addition to the free samples given on the tour, which is about 45 minutes long. You reserve a timeslot for the tour through their website. You can also just go in to buy chocolates or ice cream, which was also yummy.
July 31 · C HDefinitely worth the stop! Several free samples during the tour. Information on the process from plant to candy. Each $5 tour ticket gives you a $4 voucher to spend in their candy and ice cream store at the end of the tour. This was a BIG hit with our group.
August 16 · Angie ZaleSo fun! You get a close up look at the chocolate making process, watch a 10 minute video on how chocolate is made and its history. You also get to taste a few samples (yum!) At the end of the tour you sample their ice cream and then get to use the $4 voucher you received at check in to buy some chocolates. The tour costs only $5, $4 of it going towards the voucher. Kind of cool! You do need a reservation, so call ahead, especially if you're going during a holiday! It fills up. We went on a Saturday so we didn't get to see the factory in full chocolate making mode since they don't make chocolate on Saturdays. Bummer! Had we known we would have scheduled it on a weekday. Still, it was cool to see the factory and they did have a lady there who is the head chocolate maker, having worked there for 25 years, and she sat by the window so we could watch her close up. It was fascinating! She was so good at it! It reminded me of the I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ethel are making chocolates. Haha! I would have loved to try it!Oh, and their chocolates taste amazing! Love that it's family owned.
February 15 · Camille PurtschertVery cute chocolate factory and fun for little kids. They have a few videos they show you on the history of he family business and how chocolate is made. You get a voucher for $4 to use on chocolate or candy after. The kids selection is actually very well done and my son got so excited - literally a kid in a candy store picking out his treats. The chocolates here are very good! I love the Brittany. I will say that the place could be a bit more polished. The bathrooms need a bit of help and looked a little neglected and the outside in front of the factory was a little unkept. I think the tour was very good! Straight to the point and the factory wasn’t really doing anything when we were there (maybe they were all on lunch?), but I wish it was a bit more hands on for children. Let the kids play! Have a “puzzle” like fake pieces of chocolate and have the kids put the chocolates in the box. Have them wear little hats and play pretend. So many ideas! There’s a lot more that could make this tour even more awesome! I also will say that the tour is not ADA friendly. They did not appear to have an elevator for wheelchairs or strollers. The videos also do not have closed captions for hearing impaired. Overall, we had a great time here and there’s nothing like it in the SL Valley, I just think it could be a bit more fine tuned!
