★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My first time here! There are such interesting and tasty cacao treats & drinks. I tried a cool cacao “Air” tonic with Cardamom & Hibiscus, made with water & a hint of sweetness from Monk Fruit. It was surprisingly refreshing for a hot afternoon!I also tried several chocolates, tasting the white chocolate, but saving the rest to eat at home a little at a time.I’ll be back! ❤️
July 19 · Kathryn ScottCacao lab is an incredible spot in Kingston! Highly recommend. If you want to stop for a sweet treat…Their chocolate cake is incredible. The hot chocolate can also have adaptogens and mushrooms.
June 10 · Nathalie LyonThe cacao drinks are delicious- a bit bitter for the average American palate (probably not a good choice for children who are accustomed to sweet things) but you can add a natural sweetener like monk fruit to make it more of a treat. The little chocolates were delicious, I highly recommend the matcha and the cardamom Rose - the latter was strong of cardamom but gentle on rose, the matcha was mild but surely matcha!I didn’t get the sense that the woman working was super excited to be there- so aside from the slightly awkward service experience I highly recommend stopping in for a treat!
November 16 · FrancesWhat a lovely magical place! I had a little ceremonial cacao and was able to walk Kingston, while my heart was completely open, felt like my own little private ceremony that day exploring around town. The shop is beautiful and clean with a nice vibe and they work closely with the farmers in South America where they harvest their cacao and herbs from. Margaret, who made my iced cacao was very sweet too.If you are into ceremonial cacao and her magic - you’re in for a real treat.
July 16 · Kris HChocolates are good but the drinks wasn’t worth it for me, even with sweetener taste was too thick. If you don’t like hot chocolate mixed in water, ask for milk. That could be better than with water.
