★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The chocolate is wonderful and I enjoy stopping here a few times a year for gifts to bring back to my family. Not only was my order missing the quantity of chocolate that I asked for, the older woman with glasses has no sense of customer service or decorum. It may be how tightly her ponytail is wound up, but it's evident there's a lack of oxygen flowing upstairs. I will never return to this shop because it's clear someone like me isn't wanted there. I'll spare the details but even upon leaving the shop, someone who was inside at the same time as me asked if something was off-putting about her behavior, and let me know that's why they walked out. Very unfortunate!
August 04 · straw berryThis place sells delicious chocolates for an affordable price!I got a few chocolate covered Oreos for gifts for friends, and they were $1.50 each, and the chocolate peanut butter cups (3 in a pack) were $2.50.The place is accessible (there may have been one step, I don’t remember, but it wasn’t big if so and I found it easy to enter). The walkways were wide and will easily accommodate feet or wheels. There are TONS of chocolates (from fancy truffles and filled chocolates to chocolate covered Oreos and Devil Dogs to chocolate covered nuts).Everyone was super helpful and kind, and I actually enjoy the taste of their dark chocolate (I’m pretty picky, so that says something). There is parking along the street, and I think there are a few lots if that’s full, but nothing directly related to the store (Main Street is quite busy).
May 30 · Kristy JohnsonVery unfortunate experience today. As I can see by the other low reviews, the workers must be paranoid. As I left the store one of the workers walked out behind me and said I stole chocolate and hid it under my magazine I was holding. After I told her I didn’t and would never do that she kept challenging me and insisted that I did. I immediately walked over to the counter, set the magazine down, emptied my pockets, unzipped my jacket, and offered for them to pat me down. They refused. Embarrassing behavior over CHOCOLATE. She was so upset while accusing me…. there are wars going on…. Please get over yourself and make sure someone ABSOLUTELY stole something from you before you boldly accuse someone of stealing
April 02 · Annie ElizabethAdorable candy shop! We bought chocolates and other treats. The woman behind the counter was kind and I think the prices were really good. The best part? My mama loved the chocolate pecan turtles. I also liked some of the pre packaged chocolate gift sets. I got a cute chocolate flower basket set for priced at $13.95. I’d definitely come back.
